ABOUT US
Journal of Allama Iqbal Medical college is the official Journal of Allama Iqbal Medical college Lahore. It is a peer reviewed and open access medical journal. Since its inception in 2003, it is being published quarterly as print and now available online as well. It includes original research articles, review articles, case reports and Letter to Editor. It accepts manuscripts by national and international medical professionals. Postgraduate trainees and undergraduate students are also encouraged to get their original work published in JAIMC. We operate and process publications in accordance with ICMJE’s (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) recommendations.
AIMS & Scope
JAIMC aims to strengthen evidence based medicine by publishing high quality manuscripts with inferential analysis. Every issue comprises of innovative and interesting topics encompassing Basic medical, clinical and Public Health domains.
We accept scientific manuscripts from clinical and public health disciplines, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, case reports, case series, letter to editor, short communication from biomedical researchers, academicians, health professionals. We plan to introduce a separate page “student’s corner” for undergraduate and postgraduate students to provide opportunity to future researchers to publish their work.
